Woodside

Woodside is one of the country’s wealthiest enclaves and boasts spectacular redwood, oak and eucalyptus groves that add serenity to the estates of high net worth individuals that live in the region. Woodside was incorporated in 1956 to prevent urbanization.  While a short commute from the Silicon Valley, Woodside retains its rural character with a small business district, a network of horse trails, popular road cycling routes and a number of open space preserves. Woodside is also the home of Filoli, which is a country house listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  It is open to the public and it's 16 acres of gardens are a must see for any visitor or resident!
